| Honor the Masonic Widows Night |

On Saturday, October 10th, 2009, Brooklyn Lodge honored its Masonic Widows with a memorable cerememony. There was a wonderful catered meal complete with an elegant cake from a local bakery. Then the honored ladies were escorted into the lodge room by the officers of the lodge. After some opening remarks by Worshipful Master Jim Lambright, brother Cliff Green sang a few rousing hymns. Each lady was presented with a rose, as a token of the lodge's love for them and each lady was pinned with a beautiful Masonic Widows pin symbolizing the memory of their lost loved one and our brother. During his remarks, W.M. Jim Lambright reminded the ladies that it is the duty of every mason to watch out and take care of our beloved widows and they should call upon us whenever the need arises.
